Instructions - Adjusting the baby carrier

How to adjust the LUMBAYA Baby Carrier to your baby’s needs

Width adjustment:
The bottom of the waist belt, where your baby sits, can be adjusted in three different widths. This allows you to adapt the carrier to your child’s length and weight.
The snap buttons for adjustment are located on the inside of the waist belt.

Settings:

  • From birth (min. 3.2 kg) up to approx. 3 months
Use the narrowest setting for newborns to ensure proper support. Attach snap A to position 1.
  • From approx. 3 to 9 months
Use the middle setting as your baby grows and needs more space. Attach snap A to position 2 and snap B to position 1.
  • From 9 months (up to max. 16 kg / 35 lbs)
Use the widest setting for larger babies and toddlers. Attach snap A to position 3, snap B to position 2, and snap C to position 1.

How to adjust the neck cushion of the KIDDLY Baby Carrier to your baby’s size and needs

The neck cushion of the carrier can be adjusted in height. There are two options: low and high.

  1. Low position: Attach the neck cushion to the outside of the back panel by fastening the button on the outer edge of the carrier.

  2. High position: Attach the neck cushion to the inside of the shoulder straps. Snap the cushion into the upward position using the buttons on the inside of the shoulder straps.

  3. Correct positioning: Always choose a height that keeps your baby’s face visible above the top edge of the back panel.
